This GRBNewman Classic XL is a fast touring canoe, notable in particular for its light weight (under 30 lbs). The Classic XL is very efficient to paddle. It is an excellent solo touring and tripping boat that is light enough for long portages. Length is 16 ft 8 inches. Width is 26 inches (max).

The boat retails for $2995 new. This boat is 16 years old. The current owner (10 years) has always stored it indoors, and has repaired the wood gunwale (top edge). It is structurally sound and should provide many more years of service. It includes a seat-to-foot brace assembly that maintains seat-to-foot spacing when sliding the seat (to trim the boat for wind/wave conditions).

Please note that in the opinion of the seller, this boat is appropriate for intermediate and advanced paddlers. It is very fast, but can feel unstable to the beginner.
