Extraordinary stability and safety and durability makes this lightweight (easy to portage) aircraft grade aluminum canoe an excellent choice for family recreation with children and pets! Older model has oarlocks so if the second paddler tires, one canoeist will be able to row the canoe to shore with paddles that can be used as oars for the dual purpose for which they were constructed.

A wide beam, and fully lined with ethafoam (closed cell polyethylene) and side ethafoam sponsons make this canoe virtually unflippable yet if it does the unimaginable, then it is unsinkable even when full of water. The most stable canoe ever encountered having worked for a quiet sports retailer where many others were tested. Maximum persons: 3 (comes with 2 "porta" seats which may be stored under the bow and stern), or 615lbs., maximum capacity with gear: 650lbs. Up to a 3hp motor accepted. Birch bark color.
