Traditional Old Town? Wood-Canvas Green Canoe ~ Cabin, Lodge Store Decor This is a beautiful wooden and canvas canoe. A very cool wood-canvas canoe that I was told was an Old Town, c. 1930's - 40's perhaps? Totally guessing.

I see with research that there is a Otca model canoe that is very similar with the one stretcher in the middle. I will leave this for the professionals. The last photo shows some numbers that appear on the inside, assuming serial numbers. Hope they help with identification. As found condition and selling as-is.

The center ribs were repaired by the previous owner who has long since passed. He worked at a Johnson sporting factory since they opened and will be listing some awesome Johnson items as well. Note the center ribs are lighter. It appears they were done very well. He also put a few small screw's in the end of the stretchers.

Please see photos and enlarge them. It doesn't look like anything else was ever restored or changed. Canvas is showing wear on each upper ends and is brittle in spots. Although it was stored for years, the previous owner used and loved the canoe. Maybe a good candidate for restoration.

This shows it's original cane seats. It is a wonderful piece for display in your cabin or rustic home. Hang it or add it in a corner. The green canvas is still very attractive and we were told it may still be worthy of the water, again will leave that up to buyer. Outstanding chance to display a hard to find piece in your office, hotel or restaurant.

Lots of different options. Believed to be approx. 16' but will get actual measurements soon. Buyer must pick up in Bemidji MN. Or arrange own shipping.
