Description: 

This beautiful classic canoe is of a thin fiberglass hull construction and has a wooden deck. These were built by Jenkins and Lancefield of Corsham in the 1960s and 70s as lightweight racing canoes. They are however ideal for beginners being easy to manoeuver and quite stable. The seats are not original and the canoe comes with two plastic paddles. The woodwork and hull have no major damage and the canoe has been held in dry storage for over 15 years.

The canoe is fully water tight and has a length of 480cm and (at widest part) a width of 80cm.

Interesting. I worked for Jenkins & Lancefield the boatbuilders in 60s 70s. Corsham and lost count of the numbers of canoes I built which was probably, one that you own. Good to here that they are still going strong.Stefan
