Vintage Old Town Canoe 17 Foot Heavy Water 1947

For sale is a vintage 17 foot Heavy Water 1947 Shipped in 1949 Old Town Canoe in fair condition. Canoe has been hanging from the ceiling of an antique auction gallery for many years. Very dirty and in need of some repairs. The side railings and keel strip need replacing,the hull is pretty good with only a few spots needing attention.There is a hit the size of a half dollar and a long spot,I think it's where the edge of fiberglass sheet is. I don't know if these leak or need repair but they and a couple the size of a quarter are the spots that I see.Hull is in pretty good condition.

The pictures do no justice, this is a great vintage canoe that for a few hundred dollars and labor it would last a life time.If you think it is to much work 2 bookshelves can be made but it is repairable.
