Wenonah 'Advantage' C1 Touring Canoe This is a fast "sit and switch" type solo performance marathon racing/touring canoe. Being fast, efficient and responsive it is ideally suited to paddlers of varying abilities. An ideal boat for marathon racing or simply river touring, with loads of open space available for 'day bag' storage. Made from ultra lightweight Kevlar with black aluminium anodised gunwales. Overall length is 16'6" Width at gunwales is 22" and at waterline 29" A sliding bucket seat and foot bar enables the ideal paddling position to be achieved.

With practice it is possible to achieve 6 to 8 strokes each side before switching. Very low usage with no more than 6 outings since new, so it's condition is like new! It has also been stored all it's life in our garage. Any inspections are welcome (item located in Lewes, Sussex). Genuine reason for reluctant selling.

This is a current canoe and brought new today would cost in the order of £2700.00 in Kevlar. We did carry out a small modification to the kayak to add an extra seat but this proved unsuccessful and the seat has since been removed. There are however 4 off small 5mm holes on each gunwale where the seat was hung and you can see these in the pictures. This has absolutely no detrimental effect on the boat and could simply be covered over with black tape and hidden from view, if required. Obviously due to size this is collection only.
