Wood gunnels removed sanded coat of polyurethane applied also the entire inside of the boat is a coat of polyurethane, the prism comes as a solo boat I converted this to Tandem with new lowered cane seats, new gunnel hardware countersunk for smooth loading and unloading ,can still be used as a solo. The outside skin coat was sanded smooth and coated with urethane clear then sanded and buffed to very slick & shinny. Keeleasy tape installed. There is a couple small areas when sanding got into the Kevlar and is a light yellow spots. The boat trims out near perfect with 135 lb paddler in bow and 190 lb stern.

The front seat is lowered 5 in from the gunwale and the rear is lowered 6 inches from the gunwale. This can easily be changed to the next user. The boat is very stable and easily paddled with a kayak paddle. I always paddle tandem and work very well. For those unaware the prism not available as a tandem or solo Plus.
