Since then it has only been used nine times ( 3 x on the Gloucester-Sharpness Canal, 1 x on the River Wissey, Norfolk, 2x on Well Creek, Norfolk, 2 x on the Thames and 1x on Derwentwater) There are scratches to the outside of the hull but these are limited to the gel coat and not to the structure and kevlar fabric reinforcement. These scratches are consistent with normal wear given the low usage and the extent is shown in the photographs for this listing, particularly in the composite pictures. The canoe is extremely light, weighing less than 40 lbs and is therefore extremely convenient for loading and unloading on a vehicle as well as for portage. The current price for this canoe in the United States is $2700 (£2100) and excludes import costs and UK tax and customs charges. The location of the canoe for collection is Biddenham, Bedford and the deal is that the payment must be received via Paypal before it is taken away by the purchaser. If it is not possible for the purchaser to collect the canoe, then it may be possible for the seller to deliver it by arrangement, provided (1) the purchaser pays the seller an additional amount for transport calculated at 25p per mile for the round-trip from Biddenham to the place of delivery, (2) payment via Paypal has been completed before delivery for both the selling price and the transportation. Its carefully contoured hull, paddles easily and performs reliably in wind and waves.

It has depth in both the centre and the ends, and maintains ample freeboard when loaded. Ultra-light hulls are stiff and incredibly light. They are ideal for speed and distance paddling and for all people or conditions that demand the lightest gear. In our Ultra-light construction a structural-foam core and ribs are laminated into the hull and sides. We also add extra fabric layers to strengthen specific targeted areas.

Aluminium plates are strategically laminated into the hull. Seats, foot-braces, and all hardware is then riveted into these plates. This gives a very secure connection and eliminates rivet heads on the exterior. Kevlar®, the fibre used for aerospace, body armour and bulletproof vests, is amazingly light and strong. We've used it for more than 30 years to construct extremely light and tough canoes.
