Wood Canvas Canoe - 1930's - 13' Long, Red Canvas

Wood canvas canoe, 13 ' long, 36" wide, with deep draft. Originally possibly a children's tripping canoe or fire fighters canoe, built around 1930's. Has been in the family since the 1960's. For hobbyist or collector who can restore it to maintain it's original beauty. Mainly needs canvas repair or replacement.

Wood could be refinished or just cleaned. Wood in generally good condition, glows a beautiful amber in the sunlight, with some past rib and plank repairs. Not for tripping. Canoe is stored 20 km south of Minden, Ontario. Interested parties can request more photos and we can arrange to bring canoe to waters edge at a boat launch in the area, as it has to be paddled out from it's storage area.
