Canoe, Old Town Discovery 174

I have owned this canoe for a number of years and it has served me and my family well, it is fitted with solid buoyancy blocks that have "never" been submerged and full length floating rope painters. It is very stable and can be fitted with an additional seat to accommodate 3 adults:At over 17 feet, the Discovery 174 is the longest in the Discovery series and is no longer manufactured. Designed to go long distances, the Discovery 174 performs efficiently even when it is loaded with gear. The three layer construction is designed to take a beating. The Discovery 174 is a great choice for the recreational paddlers who may aspire to go longer distances or may need additional room and load capacity.
