Canoe Old Town Discovery 158 two seats, buoyancy wedges. Condition is Used. Collection in person only. Ex outdoor centre boat, the hull has a good shape as you can see, and the main area of the boat is in good condition. This is a boat that performs well on lake or river.

It comes with buoyancy blocks well fitted in with a through hull attachment point (so always secure). These are very well made and popular boats, extra seat can be added in front of the centre thwart if wanted. There are the usual level of scratches on the bottom from launching and landing, and although the red coat is a bit worn on the bottom at the ends this will not affect the boat for a long time yet (its common to add bang plates to boats to protect them if you want to keep the sunshine off /protect the next layer of plastic or for doing rivers) The trim has suffered a little cosmetically - both end caps are scuffed and one is missing a bit, not sure if this was done to help keep the boat drained when upside down - it certainly helps with that!. There is also a small chip at one point on the gunwale trim. Its a good boat and ready-to-go, if you dont mind the odd scruff and scrape, Discovery158s are tough as old boots and keep their value well.

Ideal boat for a bit of fun in the sun this summer, or for someone looking for a river boat for the autumn that they dont have to worry too much about scratching!
