Great Old Town Saranak 146 Canadian Canoe.

Great canoe, we've used on trips up rivers and even semi open sea, crossing estuary. Extremely stable and able to carry plenty of gear for camping or parents with a couple of kids. Have to sell due to move. Retails now for £899 so bargain at £450. Not too bad to carry, especially compared to a two seater Pelican we hired; that weighed a ton!

The Saranac 146 are very stable thanks to a low seating position and a flat, hull shape which make them perfect for family canoe trips. They are constructed from a single layer plastic construction which is hard wearing and can handle some abuse, but is also very cost effective and makes the Saranac great value for money.
