Old Town 16' Hw Model Wood/canvas Antique, Vintage Restored Canoe

1944 Old Town 16' HW model canvas covered canoe. Restoration included; professionally strip and re-varnish the interior; replace one rib and three small pieces of planking; scarph the inwale tips; new bent decks; new "D" shaped outwales; recanvas, fill the canvas, and paint off white and royal blue with a 1/2" gold stripe; new brass stem bands. The canoe was shipped new to the V L& A sporting goods store in Chicago and has the special order "D" shaped outwales with the screws through the inwales . Serial # 138323 16.
