Old Town Camper Canoe, 16ft, Lightweight Royalex Touring Canoe.

Selling my lovely Old Town Camper canoe. I bought this canoe becuase it was the most stable canoe for family / kids etc. The canoe is extremely stable, I've had the canoe loaded with lots of gear for a day's outing, plus my wife, 2 kids and a labrador dog, it's also great and lightweight if you want to go canoeing on your own. Included in the sale are 3 paddles, two lovely well made beavertail wooden paddles and a smaller lightweight wooden paddle that I bought for the kids. We only used the canoe a handful of times on a slow moving river in Cambridge, (river Cam).

I'm now selling it as it sadly never gets used. I read on 'The Song of The Paddle' website that this is a great canoe for Whitewater, Poling and Tandem. Some blurb: The Old Town Camper has great on the water stability making it perfect for touring and camping trips. Being a little wider than many Canadian Canoes the Old Town Camper feels more stable and less tippy than some canoes. The Old Town Camper is constructed from a material called Royalex.

Royalex is a multi-laminate composed of ABS, ABS foam and crosslinked vinyl that provides ultra-light weight, excellent strength and resiliency. The Camper comes with high quality outfitting including wooden webbed seats, polyethylene decks with grab handles, black vinyl gunwales, and ash carrying yoke all fitted as standard. The Canoe also has an extra silver birch wicker wooden seat fitted and two long painter ropes / ties. More photographs to follow.
