Old Town Canadian Canoe - 16 Discovery Scout With Buoyancy Blocks And Paddles.

Hello, welcome to my auction for an Old Town Discovery Scout Canadian Canoe which is fully kitted out and ready to go. I've done a few canal trips and one multi day river camping trip on the Wye. The canoe was perfect for this, but within minutes on the Wye it was scratched on the base and sides - though these are cosmetic only. Apparently these are made from something called CrossLink3, which is pretty much bomb proof.

This was perfect for our family trip and easily carried two adults, two young boys, a dog, and a day's worth of provisions and spare clothes with plenty of room to spare. We had the luxury of shuttle running in cars so avoided carrying the camping equipment in the boat, but there was easily space for the extra equipment if needed. I'm not sure of the age (my brother in law couldn't remember exactly), but it's easily 15+ years. Despite this, these are well regarded and sought after. Previously stored in a garage and then by me under cover (as per pic) to avoid deterioration by UV rays.

The Welsh flag sticker is of good quality and should peel off without leaving an unsightly mark should you for some reason want to remove it. It weighs around 39 kilos.... it's heavy but doable for one person to lift on to a car using the yoke (once you learn the right technique). With two it's easy. Selling as the kids didn't really fall in love with canoeing, so will be using the money to put towards another interest or activity. This is located in LL20 8AL, Llangollen, North Wales.

Clearly collection is preferred and I will not ship, but I would be willing to deliver a reasonable distance through prior agreement and a contribution to fuel costs. Being realistic, I probably won't deliver any further than a 2 hour journey from Llangollen. Auction only, but message me with any questions.
