I bought this canoe about 5 years ago as a winter project to rebuild. However, health and old age has set in and I must find a new home for this old canoe. It is believed to be an Old Town canoe with an early ancestry. The production number of 1243 is stamped into the front stem. However, the curators at Old Town stated that the records for such early canoes had been lost in a fire.

Therefore, the build sheet is not available to document authenticity. I believe that the numbers indicate that this canoe is indeed of the earliest canoes built by Old Town. Please ask questions. Pick up only. Cash only.

I am located in NE Indiana, 30 minutes south of I-90 Tollway and 3 miles from I-69 at Highway 6.
