Old Town Canoe 16 Ft. Fiberglass-Anchor, Paddles - Camping Birding Fishing

Here you go is a very good 16 ft. Old Town yellow fiberglass canoe, complete with wood paddles, two life jackets and a great cast iron 15 lb. anchor. The anchor always rides inside a plastic bucket on board, and on breezy days you will really appreciate how well this 15 lb. Anchor holds you steady over your favorite fishing spots. Canoe is 16 ft.

Long by 36" wide and approximately 70 lbs. weight. Thwarts and fasteners etc., are all sound. Not sure but guessing this solidly built canoe to be 10-20 years old, and with good care, to serve you well for many more years. We have really enjoyed this canoe but now are going for something larger to carry more family on board. We kept this canoe off the rocky waters but previous owner did somehow put a few dings and scratches on it, nothing major.

This is the famous Old Town brand fiberglass canoe, very durable and has never leaked on us. This larger canoe is ruggedly built to take you on many fun fishing and cruising trips up ahead. Yellow fiberglass, it was painted last year, some of the paint has worn off in places by the sand. New owner may wish to refresh the paint job or just use as is. The bright yellow is highly visible on the water.

This is a stable and comfortable riding canoe, plenty of room for cooler and camping gear, and as we say, best for freshwater and sheltered waters on the coast. On the open sea the wind works against you in a canoe so is not recommended to go very far out in the Gulf. If you're into sailing, with the right mounts & rudders etc., a canoe can be great for sailing. We know little to nothing about sailing with canoes but we know this has always been popular. Priced to move, this roomy canoe is great to go after freshwater bass, bluegill, or to cruise and camp the rivers and lakes of Florida or sheltered coastal inlet waters.

The included 15 lb. Cast iron anchor holds well on breezy days so you can keep right on fishing or taking photos of Florida wildlife. PayPal to be processed at pickup time if you like what you see. Local pickup only, we cannot ship this big canoe. We strive for happy buyers.
