Description: 

1929 18' Old Town Sailing Canoe. Production No. 96879. Purchased new in 1929 by my grandfather at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts (now the BIG E). Always stored inside. Recently sailed and still impressed not only in its condition, but also how smoothly it cut through the water at full speed.

It's a boat that can be used just as is today or has the pedigree to restore to a showroom piece if so desired. All original accessories including mast, boom and sail, side boards, rudder, resting seat back and paddles. Also a 3rd seat when not fitted for sailing. Rear seat needs re-caning, others original.Local sale/pick up only, will not ship. Contact me for alternate payment methods approved for pick up.
