Old Town Canoe - 1941 Yankee 16'

Very solid canoe with restoration including new upper inner stems on both ends, scarfed ends on inwales on both ends, new mahogany outwales, inner hull stripped and 4 coats of UV applied, new canvas with 4 coats of marine enamel and a pin strip to set off the orange pumpkin😊 Restoration just completed this very morning –Saturday, 9/1/2018 . I find the Old Town16’ “Yankee” canoe to be one of the most functional and smooth paddling of all canoes. Not too heavy to portage so great to carry camping supplies and use on those remote trips. With the keel, very easy to maintain a straight course across the lakes even in somewhat rough waters. At 16’, easy to store and to transport.
