Old Town Canoe - 2 Seater

This is a reliable Old Town canoe- Charles River model in good condition. All fixings and seating are strong and in good condition. It sits well in the water and is designed to handle rapids well for solo trips. I brought it 3 yrs ago from a canoe instructor who brought it new and had it as his personal canoe for a about two years. I’ve used it for only 5 small trips and so it’s stayed in good condition.

It’s a great boat for two or one person long, medium or short trips. Plenty of space for dry bags, floats and a barrel in the central bay. The seats are a canvas weave and there is a central thwart (a low bench for sitting on when padeling solo down rapids). There is also a yoke (curved wood for resting the canoe on your shoulders) for solo portage for the more adventurous paddlers. I will throw in the two wooden padels seen in the photos.
