Old Town Charles River Royalex Canoe. Relisting as previous buyer decided he couldn’t afford it ! I am selling this on behalf of our Sea Scout group as we were generously donated it. Being a Scout group our boats have a hard time but this canoe is a keeper for someone! Our doner said we were free to keep or sell and we’ve realised that regrettably we need a trailer more at this time.

I’ve marked it as ‘New Other’ as anyone who knows canoes knows there’s no such thing as a new Royalex canoe any more.. We have used it once to try it and the previous owner may have used it once but it really is in ‘as new’ condition. Please check out the photos. I think there are a couple of finger nail scratches from storage but that is it. Note it’s slightly wet in the pictures. So about the canoe.

The Charles River is probably one of the best all round canoes. Being Royalex it’s light enough to put on your car solo yet can take two and all their luggage easily. It tracks beautifully ( as we found when we tested it) and being so light is easy. Royalex as a canoe material has never been bettered and the manufacturer has ceased making it. You will not find a better Royalex canoe so bid generously and benefit our scouts.
