It has been a perfect choice for our family as it is easy to manoeuvre yet very stable due to its wide and stable hull. There is plenty of space on board the Discovery 158, with room for up to 2 children to sit between the seats and their parents, or an extra seat could be fitted if wanted. The 158 has plenty of storage space for day trips. The Discovery is built from Old Towns PolyLink construction making it very durable. The Discovery's tough construction and reliability makes it a popular choice as the canoe has very high strength to take any knocks or bumps.The Discovery is fitted with two standard plastic seats, plastic gunwales, comfortable carry handles and ash carrying yoke and thwart.
