Old Town Discovery 158 Canadian Canoe Inc Paddles And Buoyancy Bags

Well loved and used Old Town Discovery 158. Serial number XTC05475K102. Comes with foam block bouncy fore and aft (with handy bungee lashing on top), fore and aft mooring lines. Included are three RUK Sport paddles (daddy size, mummy size and a kids "minnow" paddle), a bailer and waterproof barrel. The barrel has my name stencilled on but I will see if I can jet wash this off.

The barrel lashes securely and neatly onto the carrying yoke and is idea for holding dry clothes and picnic. Very stable, easily paddled boat, ideal for families. Can be carried single handed on shoulders of a strong-ish person via the carrying yoke. Car top-able on roofrack. We used this with two adults and our 3yo and 7yo kids.

Plenty of scratches consistent with regular family use, but no folds or major stress points. One end cap damaged and two very small dings in outer layer of poly, neither effect use. I bought some green polyethylene repair rod to repair the dings but never got round to it, you are welcome to this if you like. End caps still available from Old Town if you wish but I really don't see any point in replacing it. Thwart could do with a sand and coat of varnish if you plan to leave it wet or on the water.
