Old Town Discovery 158 Canoe Great recreational canoe which is tough, rugged, agile, stable and easy to handle. Great for short or long trips Two paddles included in price. Well used but rock solid. These canoes are favourites with hire companies because they are so tough. We used the canoe without the seats but I’ve put them back in.

It’s fully laced too so plenty of loops to attach anything from a bottle to tent bags. Kneeling thwart fitted for single paddler, moulded plastic seats for two. Would easily take a couple of kids as well. Great for camping tours, we went to Scotland and the River Wye. As per pics diy buoyancy bags included (Argos exercise peanut balls, they do work- we tested them on a sunny day on Coniston Water!) One pic shows a rough (and unnecessary) external repair done by the owner before the owner I bought it off.

The inside pic shows no penetration at that point. Zoom in on the black speck, it’s just a bit of twig! Plenty of scuffs along bottom but no significant damage.
