Old Town Discovery 158 Canoe

Old Town Discovery 158 open canoe A classic canoe shape, currently outfitted for solo paddling but was designed to float two originally. Would just need a front seat to bring it back to a tandem. It is a fantastic boat to paddle for one or two people in a wide variety of conditions. Super stable to learn in and paddle on flat water but light weight and easily manoeuvrable for some fun on the river for the more experienced. Used but still in good solid condition, the plastic is strong and still holding it’s shape on the hull.

There are the usual scratches from wear but nothing is deep and there are no cracks or plastic repairs. The rain colours the wear in the first photos so I’ve put some dry weather hull photos from yesterday. The yoke and forward thwart have just been replaced (with the darker wood on the pictures) and the kneeling thwart is in good condition. Rear seat is also good. Includes two inflatable airbags that are holding air well.
