Old Town Discovery 174 Canadian Canoe

A remarkably good condition Old Town Discovery 174. No deep battle scars. The underside and the ends are in good condition with the usual marks from landing on beaches and riversides. Both the yolk and thwart are in excellent condition and all silver bolts are rust free. Only been used on a slow moving River Wye, River Nene, Northampton Canal, River Exe, Exeter Canal and the Thames in Oxford.

The reason for sale is to buy a smaller boat. I got this to paddle with my wife, however now we have started a family we'll both be paddling solo a lot more, so looking for a more manageable solo boat. We've toured on the Wye with two very full and heavy barrels and we didn't really notice the weight after getting 'up to speed'. Serial number stamp reads XT007206G203. Collection from Exeter is preferred, however I would be willing to deliver to a reasonable distance for 0.15p / mile - discuss this with me before bidding please!

I am also happy to help lift on to your roof rack if only on person is coming to collect. We're located close to the River Exe so when you buy you can collect and get straight out on the water :)
