Old Town Discovery Canoe 158.This Canadian canoe has been a family favourite and we’ve enjoyed lotsof trips out on it on our local rivers and lakes. We’ve used this with twoadults and one or two children, but the weight capacity would take more than that.The canoe is made from very durable Polylink 3-layer moulded plastic togive the canoe high strength to take any knocks and bumps. It’s ideal forsheltered lakes, canals and rivers. This canoe has additional buoyancy blocksat each end so can be used on faster water too. The hull shape is a shallowarch bottom with straight sides.There is one wood/webbed seat at one end, and a plastic moulded one atthe other.

A yoke has been added in the centre so that it can be carried by oneperson on their head if needs be (ideally, we’d suggest two people for liftingonto a roof rack etc) – you could add an additional seat in the centre ifrequired. The canoe also features comfortable carrying handles.This canoe is in used condition and shows superficial scratches etc, asyou would expect. There is nothing which would affect usage. The stickers havealso mostly come off – you could replace these if you wanted.
