Old Town Discovery Scout Canoe + Paddles

Old Town Discovery Scout, green, ash yoke and thwarts, ploy gunwhales, in excellent condition +2 paddles. Family canal use. This is a real load lugger ideal for camping trips etc, will happily take 5 and luggage, yet I can still car top it myself, though you need some strength! Perfectly possible to solo this canoe, but better suited to 2-up paddling. I have fitted an extra seat over one thwart that we used for our youngest when he was too small to paddle from deeper inside, so it's currently a 4-seater.

This can be unbolted to remove, or can easily be lowered to make a seat for heavier crew. Top quality buoyancy front and back with luggage bungees on top. A few of the usual cosmetic scratches, but never been crashed, cracked, glassed, sanded, filled or otherwise repaired. A fantastic stable top-quality family or exped canoe, stable, predictable, readable, comfortable, roomy, dry, carries at least as much stuff as a removal van (capacity - 1075 lbs), surprisingly nimble, highly adaptable. Happy in big water or on still, selling as kids now have their own kayaks and aren't interested in being that close to mum and dad for that long!

I also have a couple of wooden car sliders I made to make car topping easier which can be included.
