Old Town Adventure XL 139 Nantucket Red Kayak With Pro Glide Paddle This has been my baby for a while now, only selling as I have upgraded and it is time for the Old Town to find a new home! The Nantucket model is stable and can easy maintain a track, especially with use of the fully adjustable foot-controlled rudder system. This great kayak is so easy to paddle and glides through the water with minimal effort. A great all rounder, this mid-sized kayak is long enough to cruise a coastal shoreline and short enough to easily work around the smaller coves at the lake. I did a lot of river kayaking and was amazed at the places that I could easily get to in and out of with this light kayak, as I seemed to find all the shallow puddles in my adventures and this kayak was perfect as it sits high in the water and does not need much depth of water.

Plenty of storage with two water tight decks with sealed hatches are very spacious and can be used to pack a picnic or camping supplies. I have straps over the hatches, which are included in the sale to help transport your new kayak home, they help keep the lids secure, don't want to loose one on the road. Very well made Canadian kayak, a popular model used by kayak clubs here in Australia, the hull is PolyLink technology a 3 layer polymer construction which is extremely durable and insulates well for use in cold conditions. It has great initial stability, good secondary stability, and handles really well. Great Kayak for a medium to large, beginning or intermediate paddler.

Easy to get in and out. A hassle free and fun experience is how I would overall rate this kayak. Comes with pro glide paddle which breaks down and separates in half for easy transport or if you want to do canoe style short handed paddling (comes in handy in tight or small water ways to get unstuck). These kayaks are hard to find, I know it took me about 6 months to find this one and I almost missed out, so get in quick and enjoy this great find.
