Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
1986 one family owned old town pathfinder 14’-10”. Purchased new June 1986 at Fernald’s Marine in Newbury Massachusetts. In great used condition this canoe was primarily used and stored up until 2017 in New Hampshire. The canoe was stored in a garage off-season over the years, however it was stored outside most summers. Some oxidation is visible on the underside of the hull.
After 2019 it was used on Lake Memphregog near Stanstead Quebec until it was brought to my home in Chapel Hill, North Carolina this year. Included in this auction is a 4 stroke 1/4 hp gasoline motor a $300 value. Also a vintage circa 1970 12 volt Minnkota motor is included. A custom wooden stern motor mount manufactured by old Eno Crafts from Durham North Carolina. 4 paddles, fishfinder, anchor (not pictured) original 1986 Old Town brochure, and paperwork.
The original cane seats were replaced with new webbing seats in 2019 for about $175 US. Registration is not required for this canoe unless you are using a motor. If you are purchasing for use in New Hampshire, you can resurrect the original bow number NH 0130 AI. The canoe is in good condition with only minor scratches on the hull. Please review the photographs carefully as they are considered part of the description.
Local pick up only in Chapel Hill, North Carolina within 30 days of auction completion and payment unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon.
