Old Town Penebscot 174 Canadian Canoe

Old Town Penebscot 174 Canadian Canoe. 174= 17’ 4” long (and its 3’ wide). This is a great canoe- much loved and will be missed but times change. It has wood and webbing seats which are comfortable and great if you are a bit damp!! The canoe has been used for picnics and family outings on rivers and canals with just one trip on the sea.

It’s great for carrying camping and picnic stuff - loads of room and has 1500lb payload (that’s a lot!!) essentially it’s the Volvo estate of the canoe world. Sturdy, steady and stable. Takes your kids, your granny and your dog. The canoe is used - there are some bumps and scratches none of which are more than cosmetic and they do not impact on the integrity of the canoe. Two buoyancy bags included (as long as I can find them in the attic!)- brand new as we were never adventurous enough to go on white water.
