Old Town Penobscot Royalex 16 Foot Canoe With Brand New Web Seats

Bought new in 2003, this now rare Old Town Penobscot 16 RX (not to be confused with the heavier polyethylene Penobscot 164) is available in very good condition. It was bought as a second boat and so has only been taken out about a dozen times over the years. For the rest of the time, it has been stored carefully under cover. Please note though that the cane seating is now frayed in places and needs repair. The new owner of the boat has the option of either repairing the existing seats or installing a brand new pair of robust web seats ( provided as part of the sale).

There are some surface abrasions on the hull, decks and stern/bow but no deep cuts or dents to mention. There are also small paint marks along the gunwales left by the canoe cradle but these are not very noticeable and could be removed. All the gold leaf decals are in excellent condition.
