YOU ARE BIDDING ON: Vintage Old Town Canoe Kayak Wood Seat Backboard??? Not sure what this actually is. If anyone can give me some information it would be greatly appreciated. It came from a closed canoe shop in Cocoa Florida and have been in storage for many years.Will need the belt replaced it is dry rotted due to age. Measures 25-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 1/4".

Belt brackets are 16" apart. Cutout is 13" at back x 16-1/2" at front x 3-1/2" deep. ** Could possibly be:****Footbrace from the fixed rowing seat offered in the 1970s. ***A "hiking seat" for a Klepper folding kayak. This strapped on to the gunwales to allow the sailor to get their weight up and out of the cockpit, and off to one side, in order to balance a heavy breeze better.Please see all photos and ask any questions BEFORE purchasing.
