Vintage yellow XTC 16’ Old Town Canoe with custom trailer One "expert" tells me it is a CHIPEWYAN, but another tells me it is a CARLETON. ??? 16' long x 36” wide x 12” deep. In good condition except for a few superficial chips (see pictures). We have been advised that it was made in 1975. Vacuum-formed vinyl/ABS/foam sandwich hull, extruded vinyl rails, acrylic/ABS decks and seats.

The trailer was custom made for this canoe – wasn’t used for many years and just re-registered for its last trip. There is a minor wiring problem: the wiring seems to work but blinks in the wrong direction. Located in Madison, New Hampshire (White Mountains)

HI,I live in Chester, Vermont. Is the canoe available and still for sale? I have a Chippewyan 1974 and it is yellow. You can call Old Town canoes in Maine and give them the registration number and they can tell you the specs. for your boat.
