16ft 2 Seater 3 Layer Polyethaline Canadian Canoe Refurbished With Wood Paddle.

16ft 3 layer polyethylene canoe with 2 seats, ready for Expeditions, sorry to see it go as have put lots of time and effort into refitting this boat! The refitting involved the following... New Ash Wooden Gunwales joined and varnished, all screws and bolts are stainless steel. Ash seats that have been sanded, varnished, re webbed and hung. New Ash yoke, varnished and foam added. Climbing rope strength painters, towing cleat added for convenience.

Boyancy blocks steam cleaned, re strung and reformed. Had been laced on one side so you can attach equipment to inside the boat and they won't float away if you capsize! 2 Small dings in the hull have been plastic welded. The Hull has been sanded and top coat added so there are no stickers on the boat but I believe it is either a venture or old town canoe as the rest of the canoes where I bought it from originally were all old town and venture canoes, there is a serial number etched on the hull and it seems to have been made in 2015. All wood has been removed, sanded and 5 layers of yacht varnish added and new bolts put on.

It comes with 1 wooden paddle which has also been sanded and varnished... PICK UP FROM SHROPSHIRE ONLY PLEASE. YOU WILL NEED A ROOF RACK OR A WAY OF TRANSPORTING IT AND PREFERABLY 2 PEOPLE TO HELP MANOEUVRE IT, I CAN GIVE A HAND AND SOME RATCHET STRAPS ON THIS END IF NEEDED.
