Canadian Canoe

Canadian canoe built using the stitch and glue method from BS1088 standard 5.5mm marine ply.The overall length is 15'7" and is easily carried by one person using the portage yolk.The canoe is finished in Ronseal 10 year paint and the unpainted wood is treated with Danish oil.As it ages it will develop a lovely patina and look better than when it's new.The ply and epoxy resin kit alone would cost upwards of £400 plus paint and takes about 50 hours to complete.I'm a retired aircraft engineer and only build canoes as a hobby.Thanks for looking,Tony.
