Canadian Canoe - Hand-Built, Marine Ply

This is a classic, old-school, Canadian canoe. It easily holds two adults and two children, or three adults. Due to our children now being grown up, we no longer use it. But it would be a good buy for anyone looking for an introductory canoe with a bit of individual character. This boat has has been used on both rivers and lochs, so as expected, has a few scratches on the bottom.

The photographs show the maximum length and width of the boat. This boat is made entirely of wood, which gives a nice classic appearance. However, it does make it heavier than the modern plastic equivalent. We have transported it on roof bars in the past, but latterly, we took to hauling it on a boat trailer.
