Canadian Canoe Hull 16ft Fiberglass. Great Project

Fibreglass canoe hull. This came straight from the guy who moulded it from fibreglass mat and polyester resin. It has ivory-coloured gel coat It comes from the same mould as the Ottersports canoes. From this, I would say it could easily take 3 people or two adults and two children. This is brand new and has no river rash.

I noticed a couple of very small osmosis blisters from storage over the winter, which should ideally be rubbed out and painted, but it isn’t an urgent job. I intended on outfitting it myself, but I need to make some space, so am letting somebody with the time and space to finish the project. I got as far as trimming down the seam line and painting over the line with International Marine Gloss. You could just put in an inner gunwale to fix seats and thwarts to. This could be done with pieces of ash from a decent wood yard.

Or you could do loads more and make it a work of art that makes everyone else on the river compliment you on your boat. The last picture is of the same hull, but cut down and twin gunwales added. Hull only, no outfitting supplied. Collection only from CB9 or possible local delivery at cost.
