                                                                                 A ONE OFF OPPERTUNITY.                                                TO BUILD ONE OR MANY 16 FT PROSPECTOR CANADIAN CANOE'S Built by Master cabinet maker Huw Edwards-jones, for the purpose of creating wonderful 16 ft Prospector Cedar canoes A Canadian Canoe, 16 ft Long Horse & Profles. [NOT INCLUDING THE CANOE SHOWN BEING BUILT OVER THIS LONGHORSE]   'Just the Long horse & profiles for sale' I will also include any additional pieces that were used ie Jigs etc for laminating. I built a steamer with stand using a wall paper remover steam container pressurised & pipework to form the Bow & stern lams,Works a treat.I can sell this also but not included in this price, This is a unique one off opportunity to acquire an [accurately built handmade],18mm plywood, Long horse base, on locking buggy wheels, for easy manoeuvrability, with a full set of canoe  station profiles, running the full length of the horse including stern & bow.clamping stations. The long Horse can be disassembled into  2 x 8 ft sections for transporting & the Hull profiles can be unscrewed & taken off & stacked  I built this long horse in my workshop on the first lockdown.

I am a master cabinet maker with my own barn workshop. I made this long horse out of quality plywood to be able to start making, one off bespoke Canadian canoes in Cedar. I made one initially which was fantastic & featured in two major magazines [SEE PICTURE]country life and Sussex life.[ALSO FOR SALE]see sellers other items. I’m now on the second & last one ,due to the space it takes up & the fact that sadly, you cannot make a living making these amazing canoes! [TIME & MATERIAL EXSPENCE] I have sadly decided to call it a day & sell this long horse along with the set of profiles to create the Hull.[SEE PICTURE OF COMPLETED CANOE] It is  well-made and accurate and can be moved around on the workshop on buggy wheels that can lock in place when in use.

So basically whoever buys this, will be  ready to start building the Cedar Hull immediately .using 16 ft Cedar strips. Pre -machined Cedar wood Hull strips can be purchased,I have the contact for this.approximately 80 x 16 ft lengths needed.[machined my own from solid Cedar] The pre-building and preparation of this long horse and the stanchions was expensive and took some time to put together ,I made sure it was accurately made. So selling this on has cut out all  the initial aggravation expense and time,so allowing a person to get on immediately with the build. Can be used to make many in addition to the first. There are Apoxy marks in places on the long Horse ,but this makes no difference to the job in hand.

Buyer must collect from my workshop in Eastbourne  where my first canoe can be seen to which this Stantion long horse was used. I have some additional additional bits that will enable the person who buys this along with some tips & processes from me. I have just removed my last canoe from the mould ,so its ready to go.
