Forward and midship turrets rotate and elevate for full dousing impact! Built for the 2014 Norfolk Harborfest boat building competition by team Maryland Mauraders, the Battle Canoe finished 2nd place in the on-water race competition while earning Best Honors overall. Her battle success includes dousing and successfully ramming a competing Viking longboat, sinking her in the process!

Built from Luan, molded foam, Sikaflex and recently reinforced with wood dowels & screws; includes oil base point for on-water durability. Center panels pull out for paddler access. With panels inserted, the Battle canoe forms a complete to scale replica of the USS Wisconsin berthed at Norfolk, VA. Numerous hours expended in design, building and float testing this creation.
