Cedar Strip Hand-Made Canadian Canoe (Inc. Outboard/seats/paddles/trolley)

GREY OWL II : A hand-made (not by me), Cedar Strip, glued and stapled, 2/3 seater Canadian Canoe. Complete, ready-to-use package; includes removable seat backs, 2x generic and 1x Grey Owl Voyageur 58" laminated Cherry & Lime paddle, removable foam bumpers (for use in canals, etc.), a Minn Kota Endura 44 (5 forward/3 reverse speed) outboard motor (battery not supplied), and a hand-made aluminium, folding portage trolley.It is resin sealed, inside and out, and last weekend I flattened the outside and gave it three coats of yacht varnish (the inside was done by a previous owner and isn't as pretty, but it keeps the water out [or in ! ]) It's approximately 5.35m long, weighs 35kg (I'm told). It will carry three men and a dog (I've done it) and kit, up to approx. 300kg.It's perfectly stable on canals, rivers, and the beautiful briny sea (I've paddled half-way to the Isle of Wight on a sunny day).

Can be paddled solo, if the wind isn't too strong (up to about 10mph), or use the motor... It will fit on most estate cars, and can be lifted by one person (I put it on/off the truck single-handed). Puppy and a lack of free time forces the sale. Buyer collects, no offers.
