CEDAR STRIP PROSPECTOR CANADIAN CANOE. HAND BUILT 2017/18. I built this 15 foot Prospector Canoe using Bear Mountain of Ontario, Canada, plans in 2017/18. On completion it was simply launched for a photo opportunity and has not been on the water since. Selling to help finance a new project.

Western red cedar hull with black walnut and spruce feature strip. Ash gunnels with black walnut plugs.Hand caned mahogany seats. Mahogany decks with ash feature strip and Irish coin insets. Bronze hardware. Portage thwart in ash.

(Grain on mahogany one was weak and was replaced). West system epoxy and Epifanes UV varnish. Condition is As New. Minn Kota outboard bracket. (Outboard not included).
