Classic Canoe With Full Sailing Rig

Large classic canoe comfortably fits 4 adults, or 3 adults and 4 kids, the boat can be fitted with 2 or 3 benches, as required. The boat is 4.9m long and 0.90m wide and very stable. I used the boat over the last 5 years on Rutland Water, the Broads, the Soar and the Trent, to get my children used to water and sailing. The boat is ideal to teach young children to sail, it offers plenty of room for an adult to sit comfortably behind a child who is helming the boat. The rig is flexible, depending on wind conditions it can be rigged as two master or one master with either the big or the small sail (the boat has 3 mast footings).

The sails are nearly new, I replaced them recently. When paddling, the boat runs well and offers heaps of space to fit in a picking, bbq or camping gear. The boat is lovely, in good condition and I am only selling since the kids have now moved on to sail in toppers and fevers (there is a limit to how many boats one can maintain). Ideal for a someone who wants to explore the rivers and likes to sail as well as paddle, the boat offers both. The boat comes with two launch trolleys, and can easily be lifted by two people on the roof of a car (weight 50kg).
