An open “Canadian” style canoe along the lines of the Peasemarsh design but with an additional plank each side. There is optional buoyancy fore and aft using the bulkheads and enclosed with a flush fitting deck, both supplied. It goes together easily and quite quickly and once completed, looks good giving a good performance on the water. Designed to be paddled with 1 adult or 2 children while kneeling but a seat(s) could be fitted.
There are two options for this kit Plywood Only. All the plywood parts, CNC cut with stitch holes drilled ready to assemble. Includes all the plank sections accurately cut out to include the bottom panel, planks, 2 x ply bulkheads with round hatch holes cut out, plus the decks and a yoke (just cut out, not finished). You will need to supply 3kg epoxy, callibrated pumps, thickening additive, fibre glass tape, cable ties for stitches, the holes cut for the hatches, 2 x round watertight hatches (4") and timber lengths for the trim etc. Most, if not all of this can be found on classifieds boardAll quantities and sizes given with instructions or contact us now for materials list.Delivery is included in the price for these kits for UK Mainland Only (Highlands, Islands & N.I.

All our kits are normally cut to order on next working day after receipt of payment and despatched the following day (3 days to deliver). However, if we or our local supplier has have no plywood in stock, it will take a little longer so please allow up to 10 working days to deliver. We will keep you informed. Note: Being a canoe, these boats do not need to be certified under the UK Recreational Craft Regulations.
However, they would be Category D, SHELTERED WATERS: Designed for use on sheltered coastal waters, small bays, small lakes, rivers and canals when conditions up to and including wind force 4 and significant wave heights up to and including 0.3m may be experienced, with occasional waves of 0.5m maximum height, for example from passing vessels. This kit is cut a marine plywood.
