***** NEW SMALLER DESIGN - ALSO SEE GUNGA DIN II***** Canadian style 2-seat flat-bottom plywood self-build canoe PLYWOOD KIT.. Condition is New. Affectionately known as "GUNGA DIN 3" once built this canoe is approximately 3.2 m [10 foot 6 inches] long. Shown in "BLUE" in the images. With a low build cost this is a cost effective way to get onto the water. This is a shorter and lighter version of it's larger cousin GUNGA DIN 2 and is described as a "day canoe" If you want to go cruising and carry more gear then please look at GUNGA DIN 2 as it has more space.

You receive a full set of PRE-CUT 6 mm thick plywood pieces. THE IMAGES ALSO SHOW GUNGA DIN 2 - Not include din this listing but for sale separately. Assemble the canoe kit using cable ties and glue. Finish with glass fibre tape and epoxy resin. You need to purchase gunwale timbers of your choosing - you may to pick short or long, or square or round timber profiles.

The hull is fully epoxy coated for waterproofing and can be left as a natural finish or painted. Minimal skills needed and can be assembled in about 20 hours not including curing time. To build this canoe you will need [all listed in the manual supplied]: 2 kg of epoxy pack + additive.Fiber glass tape - a 50m roll x 50mm or 75mm wide is enough.Gorilla Glue or Soudal Pro 45P - about 250ml will do but buy a 500mml bottle to be safe.Some timber for gunwals and hidden seat support - about 8 lengths of 15mm x 30mm x 2000mm lengths will do.Approximately 250 cable ties.Some screws.Additional build items:Water resistant HATCH - purchased from classifieds board and link shared in the manualTie-up eyelets [recommended].NOTE: if you don't want to fit the hatches then please message me and I will omit the hole during preparation. This listing is for a set of pre-cut PLYWOOD pieces and includes printed assembly instructions, and a list of parts required to complete the build. You may need to lightly sand the edges prior to assembly due to the manufacturing process.

This version of the canoe includes apertures for water proof HATCHES which can be purchased on classifieds board or the ship-builder can leave these out [advise me after purchase]. Assembly instructions can be electronically sent once a purchase has been made should you need a copy. Instructions in printed version included in the kit as well as a recommended supplier list. Dispatched using a freight courier and may take 1 week to dispatch and another 1 week to arrive. Transport cost includes insurance.
