Description: 

Custom built Skin on frame Canadian Canoe. 16’ long, 35 1/2” wide. This super light ( approximately half the weight of a fibre/plastic equivalent) two person canoe can be placed on a car roof rack by one adult. The gunwales and stringers are of Western red cedar and the steam bent ribs are English oak. The translucent skin is a super tough ballistic nylon which has then had multiple coats of a made for purpose two part polyurethane applied.
