Handmade Two Section Wooden Strip Canoe With Three Seats And Paddles

Beautiful two piece three seat handmade sectional 4.4 metre Canoe This canoe was craftsman-made a few years ago out of plywood strips and glass-fibre tape. It has been left with a natural wood finish, but whilst functional and water-tight would benefit from a rub down and re-varnish if you want it to look amazing. What attracted me to it apart from the appearance is that it is very light (can be lifted and put on a roof-rack by one person) and breaks down into two halves for storage. The central joint is made watertight by two neoprene gaskets and held together by 6 bolts. It includes three seats and two handmade paddles.

4.4m x 0.81m x 0.345m14ft8 x 2ft8 x 1ft1.5 We have now had our fun with it and are ready to pass it on for someone else to enjoy. Not for a beginner as requires some skill to maintain balance.
