This WWII Era Canoe has a canvas on the exterior. There were only 4000 of these made between 1944 and 1948.

The Linkanoe was designed , built, and named in 1944 by Edwin A.Link. The linkanoe is a sectioned canoe with a shell made of phenolic resin and a canvas cover held in place with a shock cord or snaps. Assembles in 10-15 minutes, weighs around 70 lbs, I are offering this rare piece with NO RESERVE, and buyer will pay and arrange for shipping! Rarely do these rare Canoes come up for sale! Mine is disassembled and pack in two large boxes. It has been in the boxes for more than 20 years in a dry heated basement. The Canvas bottom has rotted and will have to be replaced. The rest of canoe should be in good shape, although I have not looked at it in 20 years. Before the buyer picks up the canoe, I will open the boxes, take pictures and email them to buyer.

If the buyer is not satisfied with the condition of the canoe they can back out of the transaction.
