If you are reading this you clearly know your kayaks This kayak has been used as intended and has travelled with my all over the UK, France and Germany it has character, as to be expected, but nothing that comprises integrity, no repairs, welds or duct tape. It’s not showroom condition and with all due respect if that’s what you’re after I’d strongly suggest you take a trip to Anglesey, Wales and buy one direct from the factory at £1650. The pictures paint a thousand words and the journey we’ve been on during my two year ownership, if you need more pictures let me know. I’ve replaced all three hatch covers and the skeg cable, it’s a fantastic yak loved and adored by coaches, hardcore explorers and more. From the website: A responsive plastic kayak that surfs well for the medium to large sized paddler. The kayak has fairly boxy rails offering good stability.
A flattish hull promote better surfing characteristics which also helps in a following sea. The kayak has been designed to fit a range of kayakers from approx 5ft 4inch (162 cm) to 6ft 4inches (193 cm) tall. There is plenty of room for large feet. With the fibreglass cockpit rim a cheaper nylon spray deck can be used. The kayak is fitted with the High performance glass seat and offers extra leg room due to a raised area either side of the cockpit. The seat can be set higher for a smaller paddler and the raised area in the front deck can be padded if needed.
The kayak has a low rear deck for easy rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent grip, control and allows quick exit if need be. The the foam pillar immediately behind the seat provides additional back support and, together with the closely positioned bulkhead, allows the kayak to be emptied by lifting only the bow, no x-rescue is necessary.A day/weekend kayak for the medium to large paddler, length: 489 cm, width: 54 cm, depth: 33 cm, overall volume: 282.5 litres, front hatch volume: 55 litres, cockpit volume: 160 litres, day hatch volume: 27.5 litres, rear hatch volume: 40 litres.Only selling as recently purchased a Stellar SurfSki as time over distance is my thing. The Mrs is rather insistent one has to go. I tried listing the wife on classifieds board but sadly their are rules against this and parting with this is a lot cheaper than a divorce although the latter is tempting 😁Collection from Lowestoft, Suffolk onlyCash on collection or bank transfer Any questions please ask phone
