We have for sale this Used Family Canoe. All timber rails / supports are more than sound… each end top having been replaced with marine ply and built in Buoyancy existing at each end… all lovingly restored around 12 months ago. Very stable, sturdy canoe, reluctantly selling due to not using enough to justify keeping her… time for a new home and a new (younger?) family to make their own memories with her. Some scratching on bottom from rocks/sand but this doesn’t affect the boats integrity. A couple of resin ‘dags’ (drips) on exterior hull which merely add to the boats character. The gelcoat on the inside of the boat is flaking off (applied after build – a bit of a mistake but this likewise doesn’t affect the boats integrity). This canoe has always been stored in the garage out of the weather when not being used so there is no UV deterioration.

Dimensions: Length 4.88m (18 foot) Long, 860mm (2’ 10”) beam 380mm (1’ 4”) deep at midships. Weight approximately 42kg - 45kg – requires 2 people to lift onto roof rack. The Canoe is available for inspection in Rye, 3941, on the Mornington Peninsula. Due to its size and weight it cannot be shipped. Assistance can be provided for loading onto trailer or roof.
